The whiteboard in the online room

This article explains the whiteboard tools in the online room for the room moderator: the top toolbar, the side toolbar, and the bottom bar.

Top toolbar​

1. Three dots​

They let you:

  • Make the whiteboard fullscreen.
  • Take a snapshot of the current slide.
  • Hide the toolbars (top and side).

2. Undo and Redo​

3. Styles​

  • Color: choose the color.
  • Fill: fill closed shapes with color.
  • Dash: choose the line style for drawings and shapes.
  • Size: change the size (small, medium, large).
  • Keep Open: keep the Styles window open.

Side toolbar​

1. Side three dots​

Click them to open a window where you can duplicate, rotate, lock items, and more.

2. Select​

Select items to move, resize, or rotate them.

3. Hand​

Move around the whiteboard. For example: after you zoom in on one point, you can move to another point on the whiteboard.

4. Pencil​

For free writing and drawing. You can change the color, fill, line style, and size from Styles.

5. Eraser​

Click and drag the eraser over what you want to erase.

6. Shapes​

Choose a shape (square, circle, triangle, straight line), draw it, then choose the style you want.

7. Arrow​

Draw an arrow, and choose the style you want.

8. Text​

Write text, and change its style.

9. Sticky note​

Add a sticky note and write in it. You can change its style (note color, text size inside the note, text alignment, and more).

10. Delete​

Select what you want to delete, then click the delete button.

Bottom bar of the whiteboard​

  1. The buttons to move between slides.

  2. Turn multi-user whiteboard on: lets attendees in the room write on the whiteboard.

  3. Zoom in and zoom out: to focus on one point on the whiteboard.

  4. Fit to width: makes the presentation fit the whiteboard.
