Add a digital file product with the page builder

The page builder lets you build the pages of your platform easily and professionally. One of the section types it offers is Books, which shows your digital file products on your pages.

Steps to add a digital file product​

  1. In the page builder side menu, click Re-order / delete the sections of the page.

  2. Click Add a new section.

  3. In the Add a section window, choose the Books tab.

  4. Choose the way you want to show your digital files.

This article explains three of them: Book Details, Book Hero and Books Grid. The Books category also has the Books Featured, Book Author and Book Chapters sections.

First layout: Book Details​

The Book Details section has these settings:

  • Book: choose the digital file whose details you want to show.
  • Show Description (1): show or hide the overview of the book.
  • Show About (2): show or hide the about this book part.
  • Show Preview (3): show or hide the book preview.
  • Background Color: set the background color of the section.
  • Section Title: write a suitable title for the section.

Second layout: Book Hero​

The Book Hero section has these settings:

  • Book: choose the digital file whose details you want to show.
  • Background Color: set the background color of the section.
  • Show Price (1): show or hide the price.
  • Show Downloads (2): show or hide the number of downloads.

Third layout: Books Grid​

The Content tab​

  • Title (1): write a suitable title for the section.
  • Description (2): write a description for the section.
  • Background Color (3): set the background color of the section.
  • Books Per Row (4): set how many books show in each row.

The Book Card tab​

  • Click any card in the list to choose the digital file whose details you want to show.
  • To remove a digital file, click the trash icon next to it.
  • To add a new digital file, click Add a new item.

Book Card settings​

A book card holds the details of one digital file. It has:

  • Book: choose the digital file whose details you want to show.
  • Show Price (1): show or hide the price.
  • Show Downloads (2): show or hide the number of downloads.
  • Book Label (3): write a short note about the file (for example: Free, Limited).
  • Show Label (4): show the label on the card.
  • Label Color (5): choose the background color of the label.
