How to add a course product with the page builder

The page builder lets you build your pages easily and professionally. Among its sections, there are sections to show your courses. This article is for platform admins.

Steps to add a course product in the page builder​

  1. From the sidebar, open Organize sections, then click Add a new section.

  2. In the Add a section window, choose Courses.

  3. Choose the way you want to show your courses. This article explains three of them: Course Details, Course Hero and Courses Grid.

The section also has other designs: Course Curriculum, Course Instructor and Courses Featured. In each section you can also choose an Animation Type and an Animation Speed.

First design: Course Details​

This design has these settings:

  • Course: choose the course you want to show.
  • (1) Show Highlights: show or hide the main highlights of the course.
  • (2) Show Description: show or hide the course overview.
  • (3) Show About: show or hide the "about this course" part.
  • Background Color: set the background color of the section.
  • Section Title: write a title for the section.

Second design: Course Hero​

This design has these settings:

  • Course: choose the course you want to show.
  • Background Color: set the background color of the section.
  • (1) Show Price: show or hide the price.
  • (2) Show Rating: show or hide the rating.

Third design: Courses Grid​

From the Content tab:

  • (1) Title: write a title for the section.
  • (2) Description: write a description for the section.
  • (3) Background Color: set the background color of the section.
  • (4) Courses Per Row: choose how many courses show in each row.

From the Course Card tab:

  • Click a course card to choose the course you want to show.
  • To remove a course, click the trash icon next to it.
  • To add a new course, click Add a new item.

Course Card settings​

The card shows the course information. It has:

  • Course: choose the course you want to show.
  • (1) Show Price: show or hide the price.
  • (2) Show Rating: show or hide the rating.
  • (3) Course Label: write a short note about the course, such as: Free or Limited.
  • (4) Show Label: show the course note.
  • (5) Label Color: choose the background color of the note.
  • (6) Show CTA Button: show or hide a button for the course.
  • (7) CTA Label: write the button text, such as: Buy, Register or Subscribe.
  • (8) CTA URL: write the button link, such as the course link.
